Consultant
Being a consultant is about being an explorer, not just an expert. I work with businesses to discover ways to craft positive employee experiences fit for their workplace and culture. I study best practices and learn from field experts from around the world and the region to bring innovation to this concept and evoke improved workforce productivity and business profitability. Synchro Comms | The Pros in Conns was born to make employees in MENA-based organizations happier and more productive.
Creative
Ever since I was young, I had various artistic talents. I am an artist, musician and actor with a particular love for entertaining others. Although I was good in maths and the sciences, I chose to go the creative path after high school. I studied Graphic Design and Innovation becoming well-versed in design thinking and innovation management. In between, I busied myself with the fine and performing arts as avenues that helped me challenge my fears and express myself in ways I couldn’t think possible.
Communicator
As a communicator, I have worked in four different areas in this field: visual, digital, vocal and interpersonal. As a visual communicator, I help develop brand identities that communicate brand values. I also help them tell their stories more effectively through digital marketing and communication campaigns. I share my own ideas and personality at corporate and public events through public speaking, and I also coach others to become more confident speakers and to develop more effective interpersonal skills.
Coach
While working in marketing and communications, I had a strong affinity towards training and coaching. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing yourself and others become better versions of ourselves. As part of my personal development journey, I enrolled in various courses to help develop my ability to grow, influence and create an impact in the lives of others. I am a certified coach and practitioner in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), the science of happiness and applied neurosciences assessing people’s neuropersonality types.
Workplace Happiness and Employee Experience
When employees are unhappy in the workplace, they become demotivated to work and disengaged with the work. According to research, disengaged employees around the world cost companies up to USD 550 billion a year. Employees spend more than half their lives in the workplace, and businesses owe it to them to make coming to work a great experience, not only for their wellbeing and productivity but also for the health and profitability of companies. I am on a mission to helping businesses craft positive employee experiences.
Digital (and non-digital) Marketing and Communications
I pride myself with having worked for the best organizations throughout my 15+ year career in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I have a natural inclination for learning by continuously investing in developing new skills and upgrading existing ones.
During my corporate life, I worked for companies like Weatherford, Siemens, and British American Tobacco; and as long-term consulting projects, I worked with Abu Dhabi Ports Company, Gates Engineering & Services and Majid Al Futtaim Holding.
I am currently undertaking my Masters of Arts in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media with the American University in Dubai and I hold a Summa Cum Laude Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the same. I also have an Executive Certificate in the Principles of CSR & Sustainability with the Thunderbird School of Business Management and various certifications in marketing and training from other organizations.
